ASCA Registered Consulting Arborists are distinguished from certified arborists by their ability to provide expert witness testimony, appraisals of the value of trees for insurance or litigation purposes, and to provide guidance for the preservation of the health and beauty of trees.  While a certified or licensed arborist may adequately fulfill standard tree care operations such as tree pruning or removal, there are many instances where only an ASCA Registered Consulting Arborist can fulfill your needs.
